About the opportunity

We are now looking for a Support Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, VIC or Adelaide, SA on a full-time basis. 

This is an exciting opportunity to develop and increase your IT skills. This role is the first point of contact for customer support requests and provides generalist ICT support to efficiently and effectively resolve tickets.

Core duties:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding technical issues with our products and services
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software problems
  • Provide customers with step-by-step solutions to technical issues
  • Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams as necessary

What you'll bring to the role

As our ideal candidate, you will join with 3 years of relevant experience along with intermediate end-user ICT skills, especially in Microsoft technologies, and good data entry skills.

While not mandatory, having tertiary qualification in ICT and MCSE and/or MCSA certification would be highly advantageous.

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience with ConnectWise or other time management programs
  • The ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good customer service skills and experience
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to continuously update your skills and knowledge
